Welcome to Believe Designs Art Studio, and my very first blog post-EVER! In this blog post I'm going to tell on myself, and let everyone know how GREEN I am, and I do not mean in the sense of environmental awareness. (LOL). I have been dreaming about my own website for a very long time. My dream is to fill it full of video tutorials, tips and tricks, and fun little stories about art, teaching, and life. Putting myself out there in YouTube land, and video tutorials is a big step for me. Until I get to know people, I tend to be a little introverted, but I created my first video and liked it. I learned how to edit and make it pretty and liked it. I am a perfectionist by nature, so it took a little longer to create my first tutorial, but I figured I was pretty good on technology building a website and creating a teaching platform would be easy-peasey! This is where the GREEN comes in. I was so green I thought I could build a website and launch everything in a week. That was the beginning of December 2023. It is now February 2024, and I am just now launching my setup. LOL!!!!! I did not work on my online venture every day or even every week. Life and family events forced me to take breaks. Building a website at Christmas time was a very GREEN idea. Probably really stupid. It's the busiest time of the year, but like I said I thought I could whip it out in a couple of days. BIG MISTAKE! Then, two days after Christmas a busted water heater flooded our house and threw a major curve ball in my plans. After boxing up the house to allow for new flooring my first tutorial is now out of season, but I think I am going to cast my nets anyway and see what happens. Once I get all the kinks out of the website, emails, and tutorial set up, I will have more time to add more content. Building the website, creating the sales links, and launching online material was the hardest thing I have ever had to do when it comes to technology, but I am so stinkin' proud of it. So welcome to my studio blog, and to Believe Designs Art Studio. I hope you enjoy your time here, and I look forward to taking you on a beautiful art journey.
